Last Week
Science: We continued to learn about the life cycle of a pumpkin. On Monday, we made pumpkin pies and then ate them for an afternoon snack.
Literacy: We have continued to learn about uppercase and lowercase letters. Children are learning when each is used and how to match these letters together. We are learning that sentences end with periods and question marks.
Math: Pumpkin seeds from last week were used to continue working on the 10- frame counting strategy. Teachers wrote a number on the board and children worked together to make sure they had the correct number. They practiced counting from left to right and top to bottom.

parent tips
- Please send your child a coat or jacket daily. We do play outside in the morning, and it has been chilly!
- Please do not send your child with crocs. This is a St. Michael rule.
- Class starts at 8:30 AM each day. Please have your child here before that time so they do not miss out on class!
