Curriculum
Our curriculum presents Catholic Doctrine within the framework of the Catechism of the Catholic Church.CREED | what we believeSACRAMENTS | how we celebrate CHRISTIAN LIVING | how we live PRAYER | how we pray Together, we are all rooted in Jesus Christ. We believe, celebrate, and pray together as the people of God. We have made every effort to provide a doctrinally sound and developmentally appropriate program in Faith Formation.
Your involvement as a parent in this program is essential. If you know what your child is learning at each level, you can assist your child in learning the concepts and experiencing the practices offered.
Let us pray that we may be rooted in Jesus Christ as a parish faith community.
Grades K-1
Catechists: Laura Kinder & Christina Smith
Children learn that God made everyone special and that God loves us. We will learn about the Bible, the Holy Family, the Saints, and the Church. This class is for any child in Kindergarten or 1st Grade, typically ages 5-7.
Grade 2 (First Sacraments)
Catechist: Jennie Lathem
Preparation for the Sacraments of First Reconciliation & First Eucharist takes place during our PREP classes, typically in Grade 2. All children preparing to receive First Sacraments should be enrolled in PREP at least one year prior and should attend Mass every weekend. Please visit the Youth Sacraments Page for more information on registering your child to prepare for these Sacraments.
Grades 3-5
Catechists: Nick Smith & Haley Cady
Children begin to explore their Catholic faith. They continue to learn about God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit, and the Holy Family. They become more knowledgeable about the Mass and its importance to our faith. This class is for any child in Grades 2-3, typically ages 8 - 9.
Middle/High School Youth Group
