Faith Formation Resources
Faith Formation events and activities typically follow the school year calendar, with yearly planning taking place in the Summer months and activities beginning in September. Below are some of our annual events and opportunites.
Adult Small Groups
Adult Small Groups typically begin meeting in September of each year. Focus of small groups may include Bible Studies, Book Studies, Ladies Group, Mom's Group, Young at Heart Group, etc.
Catechetical Sunday
Catechetical Sunday is celebrated the 3rd Sunday in September. We offer a special blessing for all Catechists at our Bilingual Mass at 11:00 am.
Children's Liturgy of the Word (CLOW)
Children's Liturgy is offered on Sundays at the 11:00 am English Mass and the 12:30 pm Spanish Mass. CLOW is designed for children Age 3 - 2nd Grade. For more information, pleaase visit our Children's Liturgy page.
Confirmation Preparation
Confirmation classes begin in October and run through September of the following year. Confirmation Prep is on a bi-annual basis, with our next class beginning October 2023. Visit our Confirmation Page for more information.
First Communion Prep
Preparation for First Communion is for Baptized children, 3rd Grade and older, that have been enrolled in the Parish Religious Education Program (PREP) for a minimum of 1 year and have prepared for and received the Sacrament of Reconciliation. Classes take place on Sundays from 9:45 - 10:45 am, with children receiving the Sacrament of First Communion in the Easter Season. Visit our First Communion page for more information.
Lenten Retreat/Mission
During Lent each year, we offer an opportunity for Adult Faith Formation, in the form of a Speaker, Retreat, or Parish Mission.
Parish Religious Education Program (PREP)
Religious Ed Classes begins the first Sunday after Septemberfest and run through May each year. We offer Catechism Classes for children in Kindergarten through 8th Grade. Visit our PREP page for more information.
Parish-Wide Book Study
Each year, our Parish gifts a book to each family and encourages all adults to read and participate in a book discussion. The book for the Parish-Wide Book Study in 2022 is The True Meaning of Christmas by Michael Patrick Barber.
Reconciliation Prep
Reconciliation Preparation is for Baptized children, 2nd Grade and older. Classes take place on Sundays from 9:45 - 10:45 am, with children receiving the Sacrament of Reconciliation in the first week of December each year. Visit our Reconciliation page for more information.

RCIA typically begins after Labor day and runs through the Second Week of Easter. Visit our RCIA page for more information.
Vacation Bible School
Vacation Bible School is the 3rd full week in June each year. VBS is for children entering Pre-School through 5th Grade, with volunteer opportunities available for Middle/High School Students and adults. Visit our VBS page for more information.
Youth Group
Youth Group is for Middle/High School students. Beginning Fall 2022, we will meet the 2nd and 4th Sunday of each month and on First Fridays. Visit our Youth Group page for more information.
