Children's Liturgy of the Word connects children with the Gospel with age appropriate discussions and activities. Children's Liturgy is designed for all children Pre-School through Grade 1. Once children begin preparing for the Sacrament of First Communion in Grade 2, they are expected to fully participate in Mass with their family.
Youth in Grades 6-12 are invited to assist with Children's Liturgy of the Word during Mass.
Schedule
Children's Liturgy of the Word meets on Sundays at 11:00 am and 12:30 pm Mass. Children are dismissed with their Catechists and Youth Volunteers prior to the Liturgy of the Word. Children's Liturgy does not meet during the Summer Months (May, June, July, & August.)
